2021 Chapter Meeting Schedule
Tuesday, January 5th - 7PM: Our virtual meeting will review "Coping with COVID19: The negatives and positives". Presentation by BJ Horner, NAMI Program Coordinator.
Tuesday, February 2nd - 7 PM: Our virtual meeting will be about recognizing the signs and symptoms/risk factors of depression in older adults and learn about the local Healthy IDEAS Program. Karen VonDeylen MSW, LISW-S, of Maumee Valley Guidance Center will be the guest speaker. Karen has been worked several years in the Four County area in the mental health field. Her past 12 years as a licensed social worker and therapist with MVGC, She previously worked 4 years as a Prevention Programs Supervisor for Four County Family Center. She currently is the Supervisor for prevention and facilitates the Mental Health First Aid courses for MVGC. Karen is actively involved on the LOSS Team and serves as the Chapter President for the Four Co Suicide Prevention Coalition. Join Zoom Meeting

Tuesday, April 6th - 7 PM: Our virtual and in-person meeting at the ADAMhs Board, T-761 SR 66 Archbold.
It's National Child Abuse Awareness Month, the April meeting will be focused on domestic abuse. The House of Ruth is a shelter that provides safe housing for women and children who are victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. While at the shelter, women receive support from staff and peer support groups. Our guest speaker is Roberta Mack MSW, LISW-S is the Clinical Services Director for The Center for Child and Family Advocacy and has been working in mental health and serving the Four County area for over 23 years will be focusing on For those who do not want to attend in-person, the meeting will be available virtually.
Tuesday, May 4th - 7 PM: Our virtual and in-person meeting at the ADAMhs Board, T-761 SR 66 Archbold.
It’s Mental Health Awareness Month, and our focus will be Substance Use Disorder. The affects on family, friends and community. An open discussion and guest speaker to be announced.
Tuesday, June 1st - 7 PM: Our virtual and in-person meeting at the ADAMhs Board, T-761 SR 66 Archbold.
It's Pride Month, learn about identity and culture mental health concerns with our local LGBTQ community. StacyFlannery will be the guest speaker.
No NAMI meeting in July. Have a Happy Fourth of July holiday!

Please note that in 2021, we plan to offer our monthly meetings virtually only in January, February and March due to COVID19 pandemic. In April our in-person meeting at the Adamhs Board will be a limited number of participants. Persons who would like to attend the meetings in-person should be aware that the number of participants will be limited, following CDC guidelines, to allow for physical distancing. Face coverings or masks are required to be worn and if you do not have one, we will provide you with one. If you wish to bring something to drink, you are welcome to do so; however, at this time NAMI is not providing refreshments
