NAMI Four County is now offering a FREE seminar informing family and friends of those with mental health condition on how to best support them. This seminar is a 90 minute or 4 hour seminar that helps provide a community of support and meet others in similar situations.

• Talking about and understanding treatments and recovery
• Communication strategies for effective care
• The importance of taking care of yourself 
• Crisis preparation strategies
• Community resources

The Family and Friends seminar is led by trained people who have first hand experience of supporting a friend or family member with mental health conditions. Participants will gain the tools they need to better help their families or loved ones with mental health conditions as well as themselves.
